Kenya Tourism Among The Top Destinations
If you are planning a vacation and want to have a real wild adventure, you cant do much better than going to sunny Africa. Kenya in particular has been a major tourist attraction for a very long time. Kenya tourism provides you with everything you could want in a travelling experience.
Tourists, adventurers and explorers alike have visited Kenya for centuries to take part in the natural excitement and to immerse themselves in an exciting new world. From a wide array of landscapes to natural wildlife to cultural diversity there is a lot to be taken in in this great country.
You will find beautiful and wild landscapes. Kenya is not just about hot desert and blistering sun beating down on the dust. From sweeping savannahs to coral reef, dense rainforests and towering mountains, covered with snow you can experience every type of environment all within this country.
Kenya is the place safaris have been taken for years. It is the perfect place to get in touch with nature and see animals and wildlife in their natural environment, interacting together in the harmony of their home country.
All the wildlife safaris and beautiful and varied landscapes are spread across Kenya where there are forty-eight National Parks and Reserves. There are even Marine Parks so you can really get a feel for the wildlife living just off the coast of Kenya.
Kenya is Africas original safari destination, attracting explorers, adventurers and travelers for centuries. It should be your first choice if you want to see the kinds of safari scenes you see on nature programs on television. You can have your own documentary adventure.
Mombasa is an example of just one of the many beautiful cities you can visit. It is located on the coast and there are four islands you can visit. Each of these is small with a beautiful climate and you can see coral reefs and marine life. It is the perfect place for snorkeling and to enjoy other water activities.
You can also visit the Shimoni slave caves. These huge caves extend as far as five kilometers. They are spacious and filled with bats, but that is not what is most interesting about them. They were once used for the local community in sacred worship. More recently, in the 18th and 19th centuries they are believed to have been used as holding areas for slaves captured within Africa before they made their way to the slave market in Zanzibar. This is a terrifying but important part of history to remember.
Whether you are interested in the wildlife of the Savannah or marine life or you want to see the people and experience the culture or take part in the various tourist attractions and activities, Kenya tourism will provide you with everything you might possibly want in a vacation.
